Urban Palm Design by Pam Maschal

A Jersey Shore creative with a Florida soul.

Born and raised in New Jersey and now creating from Delray Beach, Florida, Pam Maschal is the artist behind Urban Palm Design. Her work blends mixed media, paper collage, and small-batch shell creations, each inspired by a lifelong connection to the coast and the stories found along the shoreline.

Pam is best known for her Sailors Valentines, contemporary interpretations of a centuries-old maritime folk art tradition. Using shells, texture, pattern, and composition, she creates one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate the beauty, history, and nostalgia of coastal living.

Her work can be found in galleries and museum stores throughout Florida’s east coast, yet her connection to New Jersey remains strong. Partnering with Boho House brings her back to her Jersey Shore roots, making this collaboration especially meaningful.

Through Urban Palm Design, Pam creates artwork that captures a sense of place, memory, and coastal charm. Each piece is designed to bring the beauty of the shoreline into everyday spaces while honoring the traditions and stories that inspire her work.
