Collection: THE COLLECTIVE + B. Ruth Creative

Brianna O’Halloran is a multimedia artist, high school educator and avid gardener. Her most recent work explores alternative processes in camera-less photography with botanicals she has grown in her garden, and botanicals as the art themselves. Eight years ago, she killed cacti but her black thumb has since turned green and her garden is now one of her biggest inspirations. Brianna’s creative process is rooted in movement, light, rhythm and play. She received her BA in Visual Arts concentrating in Experimental Animation and Dance Film from Bennington College.

Brianna is member of the Boonton Board of Education, has recently established a free native seed library in collaboration with the New Jersey Native Plant Society, and raises money for local organizations with her ‘Flower for Good’ bouquets. Brianna resides in Morris County, NJ with her husband and their rescue dog, Lonzo. The slow restoration of their 1920 craftsman bungalow is yet another one of her projects. With so many endeavors, Brianna enjoys visiting her family in Ocean Grove to relax.
