THE COLLECTIVE + Sedona the Artists

Sedona has been painting since she was a child but it never became enjoyable until she started her own personal healing journey. She would always paint and it never felt right or had so much pressure on what it would look like. Going down a rabbit hold of healing made here see a lot of deep conditioning and she desired to explore and find big freedom and ownership of her life. Sedona went backpacking for 6 months and found a strong independence both internally and externally. In Indonesia, inspired by the colors and magic around her, she decided to go get some paint and started painting there. She there discovered a style of funky, weird, playful, childish, deeply emotional, yet joyful art. Accredited to not putting pressure on the work but playing instead. When she came home from her trip she hit a depression and all she could do was paint. Most of the time her intention was just to make super weird art and see what could happen. She picked herself back up again, moved to Asbury PARK and created a beautiful life and was deeply inspired by the whole process.
From there her art has evolved and blossomed. Being in different locations, sharing her art to different stores and even doing some murals. Her art is about Creating magic and allowing the process of creation to ever unfold.
