Sandy is a metalsmith and artist specializing in clay and metal clay. She began making jewelry for herself 17 years ago, driven by the need to find affordable pieces that suited her sensitive skin. After her father taught her how to solder, she taught herself to create jewelry using non-reactive metals.
Her first sale happened by chance while walking in Asbury Park. A woman admired her necklace, and after learning that Sandy had made it herself, she offered to buy it on the spot. That moment, along with encouragement from friends and family, sparked Sandy’s confidence to start offering her jewelry to others with similar needs.
Over the past 17 years, she has honed her craft, incorporating both traditional and non-traditional methods. Every piece is hand-fabricated by Sandy, from concept to final product, with great care and attention to detail. She takes pride in knowing she can confidently offer high-quality jewelry to her customers.
As a mother of two, her children are her biggest motivation, and she feels fortunate to share this journey with them as she pursues her passion every day.
