Ceramar

Ceramar is a collection of bags and accessories inspired by the unique combination of traditional Colombian craftwork and the vibrant style of NYC. Each bag is made from carefully curated fabrics and artisanal details. I incorporate my love of color and texture in every bag. They are either limited edition or one-of-a-kind pieces. Expertly designed with the highest quality, my designs are timeless. I am a Colombian designer who has worked in the NY fashion industry for over 30 years. I have always loved the artisanal crafts of Colombia and I wanted to find a way to incorporate it into my design. I purchase the decorative bands from Nuevalife foundation. They work with the Colombian Wayuu tribe directly to make sure that the women are paid, and they help them in their villages with infrastructure and education.  These bands are incorporated into the design of the bag. All of the bags are made locally in NJ.
